Description: Learn how to make words plural in Spanish.

How to form the plural
Words that end in a vowel - Add S Words that end in a consonant - Add ES Words that end in an S - Most words that already end in an S in Spanish, don't change in the plural form.

Key points

Words that end in Z change to C before adding ES.
Sometimes you need to add or remove an accent from a word to retain the correct pronunciation (to ensure that the correct syllable is still stressed).
All words that end in -ción in the singular, change to -ciones in the plural (without the accent).
